Happy New Year and Welcome to My Blog!!!

Hello fellow bloggers!
I would like to welcome you to my blog! As you can tell, this is my first post and I'm just getting started with my blog so please hang in there with me as I will be "tweeking" my blog here and there to get it right :). I am so glad you chose to stop by my blog, and I hope you will return often as I share what the Lord showing me and doing in my life. I hope you will be encouraged and uplifted. I am also excited to share my interests with you, and perhaps chat about the interests we have in common! =)

Well, today is January 1, 2012 and since it is the beginning of the new year, I have been thinking of the things that I hope to happen in the coming year. Some of which are: read my Bible more, go on atleast one mission trip and organize my room (I figured I needed to throw that in there, lol). But, quite frankly, I'm just very excited to see what God is going to do this year around me, through me.
Sometimes it's nerve raking thinking about what God is calling me to do, but, I know that whatever it is, it will be worth it. God can use us in such amazing ways if we only let Him. The differences we can make in other people's life is incredible, but, not only that, when we are serving God does something in our hearts. What the world would think is a burden becomes a joy. When we step out in faith, step out of our comfort zone, when we rely completely on God, and do what he says, that's when we really start showing Jesus to others. As I'm sitting here typing I can't help but get more and more excited! I truly believe that God wants to use this generation, MY generation to impact this world! Although the job that we as Christians have is huge and sometimes scary, it's great how no matter where God leads us, He is with us and He gives us His peace.
So, what do you think? What do you think will happen this year? What do you want to happen this year? What do you hope to get done?
I would love you hear from you so just drop me a comment! =)

Blessings,
Kelly
